Hi, I'm Karissa
I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s legal challenges with care, clarity, and a personal touch. Whether you’re dealing with property matters, wills and estates, or family law issues, I’m here to provide the support and guidance you need.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from CQ University in 2018 and completed my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Laws in 2019. That same year, I was honored to be admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland.
My career began at a local law practice, where I developed a strong foundation in various areas of law. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, I later transitioned to the not-for-profit sector, working closely with individuals and families during challenging times. In 2021, I completed my Master of Applied Laws, majoring in Family Dispute Resolution.
In 2024, I took a leap to create Median Law, a practice that allows me to choose my hours and achieve a greater work-life balance. This flexibility means I can dedicate more time to what matters most – my family, my clients, and my passions.
Speaking of family, let me introduce you to mine! This is my husband (and high school sweet heart!) Barry, and our two little babes, Aliyah and Eliana.

They are my greatest joy and the reason I strive to create a balanced life where I can be present for both my clients and my loved ones.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying the beach, catching up with friends over a meal, or indulging in my love for coffee (I’m a bit of an enthusiast!). I also enjoy a round of golf when I get the chance.
At Median Law, I believe that legal services should be approachable, transparent, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re facing a complex legal issue or simply planning for the future, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
